Gilbert Down Town
Gilbert has a strong growing economy and is focused on the family. With many outdoor and indoor activities, it was rated as the best place to live by CNN/Many magazine and ranked as the 2nd safest US city.
With over 9.8 million sq feet of retail use, the Gilbert business community is thriving and growing daily. From coffee shops to hi tech firms, the diversity of the business culture is vast. When we first located in Gilbert, the corner of Elliot and Val Vista was nothing but a four way stop sign intersection and the only store there was Safeway. What a difference all those years make in phenomenal growth of the city.
Gilbert Riparian Preserve
During the run up the housing bust, home prices in Gilbert skyrocketed and along with others across the nation plummeted once the bust hit. However, now home prices in Gilbert have returned to normal values and many home owners are no longer underwater on their mortgages.
There are many different types of activities for families to enjoy. The Riparian Preserve is great place to see nature, view the stars and even fish. During the winter, the lake is stocked with rainbow trout. If shopping is what a person wants, then visiting the San Tan Outdoor Mall will certainly satisfy that need.
Living in Gilbert is a different way of life. It’s not as fast paced as downtown Phoenix and the focus here really is on the family. During the year, there are many different events that let families gather and enjoy all that Gilbert has to offer.
